Gateway celebrates the Mid-Autumn Festival!

Autumn is the time of the Asian festival in honor of the new harvest. The Mid-Autumn Festival! This is a traditional festival with a history dating back 3000 years! It is held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the “lunar calendar”. 

This usually coincides with a full moon in the fall. Today, the Mid-Autumn Festival is widely celebrated in countries such as China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, North Korea, South Korea, Japan, and many more.

We took this moment to visit one of our customers and congratulate them on this festive celebration.

Aero Express is one of the leading logistics companies based in Schiphol. In 2022 Aero Express chose Gateway to handle its Customs formalities and in honor of the Mid-Autumn Festival Mingzhi and Marnix visited with a nice present.

The festival can never be celebrated without “mooncakes”. An insanely delicious Chinese pastry.
