Product Consultant


Gateway Software provides SaaS for Customs activities and Bonded Warehouse operations, specialising in the processing of e-Commerce shipments. This involves the sending of declarations, receiving return messages, integrating various formats, real-time connections with Customs, and, where applicable, via our Bonded Warehouse linked to the customer's ERP system. Everything is aimed at providing optimal control over and insight into Customs processes. Our friendly, dynamic team continually improves the Gateway product with expertise, enthusiasm, and a comprehensive understanding of the market.

What will you be doing?

  • Set up modules to be installed at the client's location
  • Provide support and advice for optimal application of Gateway
  • Train users in the supplied modules
  • Support sales via presentations
  • Specify customer-specific requests/elements to be built in the software
  • Involve yourself in product development where necessary
  • Test functionality and/or releases to be delivered

The specifics

  • Planning tasks
  • Reporting time spent per assignment (in some cases)
  • Providing progress reports
  • Participating in internal and external training courses for professional and technical knowledge and skills, and for acquiring knowledge of logistics/customs
  • Developing the good name of Gateway further
  • Feeding back questions from the market.

What are your responsibilities?

  • Effective communication with Gateway customers and relations
  • Project implementation, within the framework agreed upon with the customer
  • Effective handling of support calls by the customer service
  • Reporting on the progress of projects and customer service activities.

Where will you work?

Work can be performed at either the client's location or the Gateway office. In some cases, the client's location may be outside the Netherlands.

You will report to the Head of Customer Service.
